Solution 1- Reboot the Android Device

Yet if the issue is still there, delete Apps data but remember deleting Apps data will remove all the settings of the apps but will fix the issue.

To clear the Gboard cache go to Android devices Settings scroll and open Apps. In Apps find Gboard tap and select it. Then click on Storage and tap on Clear Cache. The same way you can clear Apps data too, just tap on clear data. Check the images provided below for reference.

Solution 4- Uninstall update and install the older version of Gboard

Often after an update sometimes an App can show some issues. It can be due to some bugs that get fixed later in when the developer realizes it and fixes it. Meanwhile, if your Gboard was working fine before the update you can simply remove the update and use the App it should work fine.

To remove updates, go to Android devices Settings scroll and open Apps. In Apps find Gboard tap and select it. Now when you select Gboard on the next screen tap on the three-dot menu shown on the upper right side of your screen. When you tap on it you will see the option Uninstall Update just tap on it and uninstall the update. Your android device’s Gboard should work fine now.
